December 4 – 1st Ottawa-Gatineau school league speed workshop and competition in Gatineau!  Gatineau is the host team.  Competition is from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and location TBA.

December 10 – Last OAR West team practice before Xmas break

December 17 - OAR Xmas party!  OAR West is host team and party location is TBA.

February 27 - Ottawa School League Power Board Championship (OAR East hosts) (*about 150 participants).  OAR East and West teams host at Arc-en-ciel from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

March – Demo (TBA)

March 1 – OAR Variety Show Extravaganza Fundraiser (7:00-9:00 p.m.) at Béatrice Desloges French Catholic Secondary School.  ***Please note that rehearsal begins at 12:00 noon until about 4:00 p.m.  Break for supper from 4:00-5:30 p.m.  There may be a mini-rehearsal from 5:30-6:30 p.m.  Show is from 7:00-8:45 p.m. with a 15 minute intermission.

March Break 2 to 7 – *No classes for the Gatineau school board.

March Break 10-14 – *No classes for the Ottawa school boards.

March 23 – Quebec School League competition hosted by Claude Paquette in St-Pie, QC (about 20 OAR team members participating)(*Sunday)(*TBA)

March 26 – Gatineau-Ottawa School League Power Board Workshop/Competition hosted by Gatineau.  OAR East and West to provide volunteers, judges, to help them host their first competition.  Location TBA and time will be 6:00-8:00 p.m.

March 28 – Demo at LePhare Elementary School (*15 OAR team members participating) Contact person is Daniele Bergeron (and Guylaine Langlais – principal) and the demo start time is 9:15 a.m. (TBA)

April – Demo (TBA)

April 4-11 – Trip to Cuba (exact dates TBA)

April 13 – Quebec School League Montérégie Regional Championships (Le Championnat Régional de Nawatobi) at St-Hubert, and the contact is Claude Paquette (*about 20 OAR team members participating) *Sunday. (TBA)

April 21 – Easter Monday Holiday

May – Demo for Mayfair (TBA)

May 3 – Nawatobi National Championships and North American Top 12

               Saguenay is the host team this year.  Dates and times TBA.  We will need to leave early on

               Friday morning and will leave early on Sunday morning.  Competition is all day Saturday.

               Contact is Cécilia Coulombe.  We will stay in a high school gym Friday and Saturday night.

               We need one male chaperone and one female chaperone to supervise both evenings.

June 7 – End of year OAR East and OAR West Team BBQ at Brittania Park!  Rent the gazebo area as it is fully equipped with tables and has a large area where we can set up the trampoline and also bring the kayaks, etc.
